Johirul Islam Abedy is a Bangladeshi Islamic scholar and da‘i, currently pursuing higher studies at the prestigious Al-Azhar University, Egypt, in the Faculty of Comparative Religion. With a strong commitment to spreading authentic Islamic knowledge rooted in the Qur’an and Hadith, he strives to make Islamic teachings accessible, relevant, and practical for people of all backgrounds. His scholarly contributions include explaining the virtues of essential acts of worship, such as the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, and conducting live broadcasts from Makkah, including the Fajr adhan, to inspire spiritual connection.
Beyond religious scholarship, Johirul Islam actively engages in social and human rights discussions, encouraging reflection, awareness, and positive change within the community. His unique blend of academic pursuit, da‘wah activities, and public engagement positions him as a dedicated scholar and a voice of inspiration for contemporary Muslim society.
